Jordan, NY Engagement Session | Katlin and Dylan

At some point before Christmas 2018, I received an email from a lovely woman named Kim inquiring about booking an engagement photo session. It wasn’t for her, but rather, two of her friends. Katlin and Dylan had met in high school (study hall, according to Dylan), gotten engaged in 2015, but had put their nuptials on hold for a variety of reasons. Dylan had moved to Georgia to study/train to be an electrical lineman, Katlin was working to get a new business up and running… wedding planning could wait.

Fast forward to June 2019 on a warm, sunny evening in the old Erie Canal town of Jordan, NY, and everything came together for a lovely photo session: The light was golden, the smiles contagious, and the mosquitos were… um, biting. Before they could take too much of our blood, Katlin, Dylan, their dog Bear and I got some great photos in, including a few that took advantage of Dylan’s specialized training.
